Nancy and I came to know Jesus in 1982. We were both in our early 30’s. It seems we do a lot of things together. This was by far the best thing we have ever done. We were introduced to the Lord by a Christian building contractor while building our home in Yelm. I was at the building site every day while it was being built with him and his crew. They were all Christians, and it wasn’t long before we could see Christ’s love in each one of them. Nancy and I committed our lives to Christ that year. Our relationship has only gotten better. Before I was a Christian I thought there was no god. I thought any religion was a man-made coping skill to get you through life. It was just a crutch. I know now that man does need a crutch. Maybe a better term would be a purpose. Nancy and I have a purpose in life and that is to please God with our lives. I can think of no higher purpose.
